Idahoans for Public Lands

Who We Are

Idahoans For Public Lands is a coalition of like-minded organizations that advocate for the great outdoors that makes Idaho unique.

Idaho’s national forests and public lands are treasures that belong to all Idahoans and all Americans. Our mission is to ensure that Idaho’s state lands remain in public hands where families, visitors, outdoor recreators, sportsman, and all can enjoy them.

Idaho’s public lands are at risk – being sold off to private ownership, neglected by a lack of state funding and unprecedented use, and more. The places that make Idaho, Idaho – like Hells Canyon, the Sawtooths, the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area, Bruneau Dunes State Park, and dozens of others —need our (and your) support now more than ever.
